How great is this night
Our dear beloved Prophet Muhammad Salla Allahu ta’ala ‘alayhi wa Sallam
Saw a vision, a miraculous sight
Miraj un Nabi, Miraj un Nabi
Special things did our beloved Prophet Salla Allahu ta’ala ‘alayhi wa Sallamsee
He made the heavenly flight
From Masjid-ul-Haram to Masjid-ul-Aqsa
On Al-Buraq, in the night.
Miraj un Nabi, Miraj un Nabi
The leader, Imam- ul -Anbiyaa was He
In prostration were they to Allah
Master of the universe and the Heavens
In the darkness of the night did they go
Up to the Heavens one by one
With Angel Jibrail alayhis ‘salam by His side
The gates of the heavens opened wide
Angels all around and Prophets to see
Angel Jibrail alayhis ‘salam led our beloved Rasool Salla Allahu ta’ala ‘alayhi wa Sallam
Beyond the Heavens up to the Lote-Tree
The Sidraat-ul-Muntahaa.
Our dear beloved Prophet Salla Allahu ta’ala ‘alayhi wa Sallam met with
His creator, His Master, Allah
As near and close as He could be
This Most beautiful vision
His eyes could see
Miraj un Nabi, Miraj-un-Nabi
How loving and close is He
Allah loves His Rasool dearly
More than you, more than me.

Poem Isra and Meraj
In the life of Muhammad Salla Allahu ta’ala ‘alayhi wa Sallam Isra and Meraj took place.
In it he went to the highest place.
One night, he was sleeping in Hateem,
When he was woken up, by Jibraeel Ameen.
On Burraaq he rode to Jerusalem and to heavens,
He met many prophets on the seven heavens.
Allah provided him a special lift,
To give him a special gift.
Remember Musa’s advice and sincerity,
Now we pray five, and get the reward of fifty
When he told people in the morning, some mocked him,
Although his proof was undeniable, some still denied him.
Hazrat Abu Bakr immediately supported his claim,
And that’s how Siddeeq became his name.
